Down Under the Manhattan Bridge Overpass
With the success of The Municipal Art Society’s website redesign, FusionLab was asked to develop this site for an MAS preservation advocacy project called Save Brooklyn’s Industrial Heritage. Sounding the alarm against high-powered developers, this website features scrolling pictures of select endangered buildings that have potential landmark status, each with links to a profile page. The site also features an interactive map of the area and more of its significant historic resources.
Concurrent with the site’s launch was the appearance of a front-page article in The New York Times on the subject in its particulars.
