Jane Jacobs and the Future of New York

Website design, Drupal programming and interactive maps « project 6 / 9 »

Building on our ongoing relationship with The Municipal Art Society, Fusionlab developed a site to accompany their exhibit Jane Jacobs and the Future of New York. (The exhibit and preliminary web look & feel were designed by Karlsson Wilker).

Along with front-end design, we combined Google Map technology with custom programming to develop an original application for the website. Google maps programmed with MAS-generated data graphically display how people in the city make use of their neighborhood’s space. The maps create an innovative framework within which visitors become engaged in the MAS exhibition.

Fusionlab also employed Drupal programming to create a Content Management System, and built an interactive survey connected to the exhibition blog.
