FusionLab creates cross-platform design solutions for the web, print, DVDs, podcasts and corporate identity. We utilize photography, video, sound and, above all, good design sense.
We approach projects first as information designers, then as visual artists and finally with great regard to the tangible final product – how it looks, feels, communicates, and how it is navigated and understood. Informed by this approach, we are able to solve a wide range of challenges for our clients.
Web Design
FusionLab prides itself on the quality of its imagery and design yet we remain practical throughout. We place great emphasis on the facilitation of communication, thoughtful, clean design and simple, intuitive layouts. We ensure that our sites are built upon solid foundations and will provide your audience with an excellent user experience.
A good site will not only look good. It must load quickly in a browser and allow search engines to produce high-ranking results. We achieve this by coding websites per W3C (World Wide Web Consortium) recommendations for valid and standard-based XHTML. For custom-programmed sites, we use PHP and MySQL, a very reliable open source solution. We host on an Apache server, widely regarded as one of the most secure web server solutions available.
Because websites are dynamic organisms, they need your periodic attention. We recommend clients evaluate their site every three to four years, depending on their field of business. This is primarily to help keep up with the rapidly changing pace of web-based technology, which can have a very real impact on how a website functions in the world. A new site can also demonstrate a company’s ability to keep pace with the competition and with changes in the marketplace.
Print Design
The unique beauty of print design is it’s tactile nature and the sensations it evokes through material, texture, color and form. Fusionlab has the experience, understanding and love of print needed to help clients build marketing strategies, grow their business, and seamlessly integrate print materials with other communication resources.
From corporate identity and branding, to book covers and brochures, through postcards designed to announce a new website, to a company’s technical whitepapers and information sheets, we have developed a wide range of print solutions for our clients.
Video Production
Using a professional team and equipment, Fusionlab can shoot on-location and provide expert editing services. We create content for websites, podcasts and other promotional items such as DVDs, as well as offering services for recording special events and editing pre-existing footage.
