The only gallery of its kind in the United States, MINUS SPACE specializes in reductive abstract art on the international level. Reductive art is generally characterized by its use of plainspoken materials, monochromatic or limited color, geometry and pattern, repetition and seriality, precise craftsmanship, and intellectual rigor. Reductive art is inclusive and pluralistic in its approach, including geographic location, age, gender, medium, artistic strategy, and content of work.

FusionLab collaborated closely with MINUS SPACE founder, Matthew Deleget to develop a new, sparse, and elegant look for the website. While keeping the design touches minimal, we made sure to place the content within a strong, modern, grid-based structure throughout, supported by simple navigation.

The site’s launch coincided with the gallery’s move to Dumbo, to one of Brooklyn’s premiere gallery buildings at 111 Front Street.
